Angelica Panganiban is a Filipino-American actress model TV host and comedian. Panganiban is often referred to as the "new queen of Drama" by many media publications. She is also recognized as one of the Philippines the most skilled and diverse actors. The word angelica roots means that only the roots of the plant are employed. The youngest contestant on the show's history and second in the show's history, she placed 2nd. Angelica Hale suffered from double pneumonia in the year 2012. She was just 4 years old at that time. The reason for her disease was a severe strain of the strep bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston put her on ECMO, a life-saving intervention. Her organs failed in multiple ways, and her kidneys were not able to fully recover. It was her new normal to have hemodialyses as well as peritoneal dialysis. For the eighteen days she spent in hospital, her life changed forever. Angelica had completed a year of dialysis and a half, was now ready to undergo the biggest surgery of all - a kidney replacement. It was her own mother who was the one to donate her kidney. Angelica as well as her mother, went through a successfully kidney transplantation on the 13th of September, 2013 at two amazing hospitals that were located right next to each other - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale pursued her dream to become a famous person ever since.
